Creative Coding Week 8 Outputs

Output #1 - This is a simple effect resulting from as simple process. Firstly, I maade two animated square TOPs, that rotate in opposition (using absTime.Seconds*X and *-X). I then gave each square a radial ramp, marking the end of the ramp with a darker colour to give it a kind of 'dial'. The effect from these rotating into eachother makes it looks like 3d shapes distorting. I then tiled the hell out of it, maybe 4 times? and Comp-ed them over eachother using the 'add' function.

Output #2 - I used a circle TOP which I lens-distorted, used the Edge TOP to get those neat little lines, then used a ramp TOP to get this lovely green colour. I then animated the edge lines to rotate using a Transform TOP, tiled (mirrored on X+Y axes) the animated edge lines, COMPed them with another shape and tiled that aswell. The effect produced is a glassy marble with a kind of flowing liquid inside it. Very happy.

Output #3 - Firstly, I used a circle TOP and fed it through a lens distort TOP, which I then animated to get that kind of smoky swirl. I did this twice and coloured each one with a ramp TOP. I then lens-distorted a square, and instanced this in the lens-distort TOP itself to save having to use a tile TOP. These components were then Composited together using a negative effect, and a background added. Love the look of this, I was going for nails with the static shapes and the smoky effect behind them adds a lot I think
